Hoooeee! Chicago, we have landed! 20 hours, 3 flights, and some serious rushing through Houston airport later, and we are in the USA.
Before getting on the plane I was worried my right glute and sciatic nerve would sieze a bit, keeping me from enjoying the beauty of in-flight movies (and sleep.) Thankfully an extra cushion worked wonders.
Breakfast: eaten.
Lunch: in hand.
Foot-long Subway sandwich for the win. I have also stretched a little, and been hydrating. The vans and drivers arrived back to our airport accommodation. Then we hit the road for Minneapolis. This evening we’ll have a light training session to get the body moving and assess throwing in the humid air. Different thermal currents always take some getting used to the way the disc moves in.
I hope you are all staying cosy in whatever climate you are in. Catch you tomorrow friends.
Peace.
Good luck, Hamish!! It already sounds like you are having a great time. Thanks for the update.

Sounds like a great adventure Hamish. 5 hours north (by car) is where I live. I’d take you fishing if it were closer, or, being the sports guy, maybe you would rather waterski or wakeboard??

Wow! Small world still, eh? Even with the past couple of crazy years we’ve had.
Fishing sounds great as a break from the intense physical activity, to take in the beautiful scenery, and enjoy the sounds of nature.
Waterskiing or wakeboarding sound great fun – but I’ve not been good enough to stand up when I’ve tried!
I hope you are well and look forward to reading more of your adventures ASI fine back into WordPress again after the tournament finishes. Thank you for your message. 😊
