Pro tip: Know when to do the right thing. Sometimes this is standing in the stack and getting the people in it to move up and downfield organically as the disc flows. Sometimes this is initiating a cut from a different position than your team usually would because others are tired. Sometimes this is foregoing a break pass which would usually be simple, but late-game fatigue means it’s not the right time to try it.
Related and just as important: Over-communicate what you’re doing at any given time, it doesn’t matter if the opposition knows, they still have to work around it which can often be difficult.
